
Raj is Associate Dean for Strategic Initiatives and Research, Director of the Doctor of Business Administration Program, and Professor of Marketing and International Business in the Monte Ahuja College of Business. Raj has published extensively in the field of marketing and international business and strategic entrepreneurship. He has received several awards in teaching and research, and has great passion for teaching.
As an Associate Dean, Dr. Javalgi assists the business community in their strategic initiatives impacting the leading indicators in the region and beyond; works with the Deans and business leaders in advancing business education and internationalizing the curriculum; assists small-to-medium-sized companies in developing export plans, marketing plans, and in cross-cultural issues of doing business in developing and developed countries; seeks grants and funds to advance the mission of the College; and other related strategic initiatives impacting the regional economy.
As the DBA Program Director he conducts a series of workshops on emerging issues impacting higher education; conducts seminars on current research topics benefiting both the faculty and students; and serves either as a dissertation chair for doctoral students or as a dissertation committee member.
