Center and South Galleries: 43rd Student Show
The 43rd Student Show at Cleveland State University features 54 works of art by 37 students. The show includes photography, printmaking, painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics and video. This is a juried exhibition organized by SOFA (Student Organization of Fine Art).
Closing reception Friday, April 25 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm

North Gallery: Merit Exhibitions
Works by recipients of Art Department Merit Scholarships.
Dunya Abrahim, Ben Rodriguez, Candice Vlcek, Jeremy Kurth, Matt Kapela, Omid Tavakoli, Benji Diaz, and Yiyun Chen.

North and Center Galleries: Graphic Advocacy: International Poster for a Digital Age 2001–2012
An exhibition of socially responsible poster art curated by Elizabeth Resnick, Professor, Chair, Graphic Design, Massachusetts College of Art and Design.

South Gallery: 2014 Cleveland Clinic Explorers Exhibition
Presented in partnership with the Cleveland Clinic Office of Civic Education Initiatives Creative Learning programs.
Opening Reception Thursday May 15 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm

 



The new Art Gallery will be housed at 1307 EUCLID AVENUE, in the Cowell and Hubbard building, located next to the restaurant by the same name, in the heart of the recently launched Arts Campus at Playhouse Square. The new gallery venue features three distinct exhibition spaces, a multi-purpose media space, a resource library, a meeting area, as well as state of the art lighting, surround sound and new-media capabilities.
