Balancing Act 2, 2004

This exhibition explores issues related to identity, ethnicity, perception, self esteem, gender issues, race relations, prejudice, and discrimination. Nayar-Gall juxtaposes traditional Indian imagery with contemporary American iconography to achieve a sense of the self that is very personal yet unmistakably universal.
