An exhibition of paintings by Sid Rheuban, now in his eighties, who came to art late in his long and productive life. Sid paints expressive but intimate portraits of family and friends on canvas and on plexi glass using a reverse painting technique. This method gives the paintings an otherworldly luminescence, which enhances his deep psychological insights into his subjects – making his work very personal yet, profoundly universal.
