Interested in Becoming a Student Mentor?

The CSU Alumni Association is launching a new alumni student mentoring program this fall and we are seeking alumni interested in becoming a mentor. Alumni mentors will provide students with encouragement, resume review, offer helpful tips for success, or provide job shadowing and informational interviews. The level of involvement will be strictly up to you. Your professional and personal experiences could provide valuable information and career insight that will last a lifetime.

Reuben & Dorothy Silver Tribute

For more than 50 years, Reuben and Dorothy Silver have been Northeast Ohio's reigning theatrical couple, captivating audiences in their roles as performers, directors, administrators, teachers and mentors. In appreciation, the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, and its Department of Theatre and Dance are establishing the Reuben and Dorothy Silver Endowed Scholarship. Join us on Saturday, November 20 in supporting the scholarship and saluting the Silver's professional achievements.

Carla Jenkins, MBA '02, was recognized as a 2010 Who's Who in Black Washington, DC. Jenkins currently lives in Washington, D.C., working as an economist with the Bureau of Economic Analysis.

William Olson, MS '04, recently published the novel, Right on Time.

Amelia Bacic Tulevski, BA '02, is the author of The Way Everlasting and Virtual Predators and founder of The Saint Gregory Palamas Outreach.

Francis X. Bova III, BA '09, currently works as a site editor for Groupon.com in Chicago, handling live edits and more for daily deals in all of Groupon's featured North American markets, including Cleveland.
