Moses Cleaveland Event Raises 250K for Scholarships, Recognizes $7.6 Million in Gift Commitments

awardee recipientsPhilanthropy may be falling on hard times in general, but it is alive and well at CSU. The recent Moses Cleaveland Scholarship Gala at the Renaissance Hotel signifies that fact. The over 500 people in attendance rallied around one salient CSU truth: there has never been a better time to invest in the guaranteed payback that comes with student scholarships.

Even in these uncertain economic times, a CSU diploma has never had greater value nor been held in higher esteem. The education a person earns here can never be taken away. How many investments today can make that claim? The affordability of a CSU education makes it a remarkable investment in a student's future. And our alumni and friends giving is a vital part in making higher education a reality for many CSU students.

Click here to close out 2008 by giving a gift, an investment in the lives of our students, campus community and, in turn, our region. You won't be disappointed by its return.
