"As a nursing leader, I have continued to provide care to patients at the bedside by spending scheduled clinical time with nurses. A few years ago, I was with a nurse in Labor & Delivery assisting her in the care of a laboring patient. The patient, her mother and I all had red hair. The obstetrician arrived close to the birth of the baby. He handed me the scissors to cut the umbilical cord referring to me as the grandmother. I hesitated and looked into the eyes of the real grandmother who smiled and nodded in approval stating that she hoped another 'little red head' would soon join the family." - Cathy Koppelman, BSN '78

Cleveland-Marshall College of Law Students Reach 90 Percent Bar Passage Rate
The bar passage rate for first-time test takers from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University in February hit 90 percent, according to recently released results. Click here for more.
Campus International School Launches at CSU
The Cleveland Metropolitan School District and Cleveland State University announced a collaborative project to launch an on-campus kindergarten-through-12th grade school with a curriculum that is globally recognized for culture, innovation and high standards Click here for more.
CSU Getting Closer to Hosting Medical Students
CSU President Ronald Berkman said the plan is for about 35 students from CSU - and interested students from other feeder colleges -- to spend half of their time in Cleveland working toward medical degrees through the urban-focused program. Click here for more.
CSU Names Interim Athletic Director
CSU has named John Parry as interim athletic director. Parry will serve in that role while the University continues its nationwide search to fill the position permanently. Parry was formerly athletic director for Butler University in Indianapolis from 1990 to 2006. Most recently, he has been working as a consultant in Indianapolis for various intercollegiate athletic programs. Click here for more information.

Ohio license plates bearing the Viking logo and Magnus mascot are now available. The cost of the distinctive Cleveland State plate is your annual renewal fee plus an additional $35.
