"Cleveland: the Milan of the Midwest – District of Design Project"
The fifth program in our About Town East speaker series will feature Edward W. (Ned) Hill, Dean of CSU’s Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs, and Daniel Cuffaro, Design Environment Chair and Department Head of Industrial Design at the Cleveland Institute of Art. They will discuss the District of Design Project, spearheaded by CSU and CIA, to establish Cleveland as the "Milan of the Midwest." This project will bring industrial design, art, architecture and related manufacturing to downtown Cleveland – creating jobs for students and others and enabling companies to attract and retain top talent. Join us for dinner and this opportunity to meet Ned Hill and Dan Cuffaro and hear them discuss the exciting District of Design Project. A Q&A session will follow the presentation.
