INTAKE WEEK: SEPTEMBER 2-5
COME IN TO TASC and RESERVE YOUR TUTOR/ACADEMIC COACH!!! Tutors/Academic Coaches not only help you with the material that you need to know for your class, but they also help you apply effective note-taking and comprehension strategies, study for exams, stay organized, and much more.
YOU CHOOSE if you would like to meet with your tutor/coach once or twice a week. It is HIGHLY recommended that you stop in during intake week. Space and tutors are limited. By starting early and staying on track, you will have increased confidence on the tests and of course BETTER GRADES!!!
THE READING CLUB: BEGINS SEPTEMBER 6th
If reading feels like a detention, join the gang, Breakfast Club style…on a Saturday…in the library. Bring a brown bag lunch and get ready to see textbook reading in a whole new light. The series takes place the first Saturday of each month. Different active reading approaches and tips will be covered during each session. Bring the textbook and notes from your most challenging course. More details to come! RSVP to tutoring@csuohio.edu.
