CSU’s campus is urban, vibrant, and diverse. You will get the chance to meet people from all walks of life. There are endless opportunities. Overall, you get the best of both worlds; strong academics and a great location! Students will have fun while preparing for your future without even venturing too far away. Opportunities are literally in your backyard.

I focus on high schools in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District.

Favorite Place on campus: My favorite place on campus is the Student Union Courtyard. It’s very relaxing, surrounded by greenery, and has a great view of the CSU fountain.

Best advice for the college search: Always get connected to Career Services once you step foot on campus. They can provide you an abundance of resources that will assist you in finding an internship or co-op. I chose to get an internship each summer throughout my undergraduate experience and it set me apart from the rest of my graduating class! It’s also a great way to boost your resume and gain valuable experience in your intended career field.

Favorite class in college: Business Law was by far my most favorite class in college. My professor was an attorney and taught part time in the evenings. He discussed real life cases and applied them to our daily curriculum. I felt like I was part of the Law and Order cast before the class ended! Being able to apply what we learned in class to actual court cases was very beneficial. I developed a new fond love for law and politics and even signed up for debate team!

Best question to ask on a college tour: Who was the most inspirational professor they have taken classes with? Building a good relationship with faculty and professors is very important. They are a wealth of knowledge and can be excellent mentors.

Favorite CSU tradition: I’m excited to take part in my first Vikefest! Homecoming is always an exciting time to school spirit and experience all the wonderful activities CSU has to offer.

Favorite CSU Fun Fact: CSU is turning 50 next year! I can’t wait to see how Viking Pride is spread across the campus as we gear up for the “Big” celebration. Go Green and White!
