Welcome to the home for Undergraduate Research at Cleveland State University!
Seventy one CSU undergraduate students had the opportunity to work on summer research projects with faculty mentors during summer 2009. Fifty six proposals were received from five colleges and 38 were funded across 16 departments. Examples of funded proposals included Geo-Narrating Cleveland using Google Earth, Touch-Based Pervasive Computing Exploration, Assessing the Bioavailability of Particulate Phosphorus in the Cuyahoga River , and The Health and Well-being of Elderly Immigrants in Cleveland.
The funds for the projects, totaling $295,625, were provided from the Provost’s office. The Provost’s office will also sponsor a Poster Session for these projects Thursday September 3rd from 10:00am – 2:00pm in the Library.
