Project Title: Teaching Commercial Bank Management and Financial Markets in Latvia .

Project Objectives: There are three primary goals I would like to accomplish in Latvia:

1) teach both undergraduate and master's degrees students the theory and practical aspects managing a commercial bank in a highly competitive and increasingly complex financial market,
2) teach a class in money and capital markets, and
3 ) work with the local Latvian banking community to share the latest developments in the area of credit risk assessment and risk management. Each course will have a strong international focus to help prepare Latvian students for a challenging career in very dynamic financial markets and institutions.
