Professor, Political ScienceRT 1735 France (as a student), |
During my Fulbright in France I was able to study international politics and African sociology at University of Paris (Sorbonne) and at the Institut des Sciences Sociales. I conducted research on "animation rurale", a French community development technique. This research was crucial in my doctoral work.
During my Fulbright in Côte d'Ivoire (at Abidjan University) I taught sociology and research methods in the Department of Sociology (Faculty of Letters) and Economics (Faculty of Economics). I conducted research for the Economics Department research institute (Centre Ivoirien des Recherches Economiques et Sociales). As a result of this I published several articles on the recruitment of students to higher education and on participants in the Ivoirien Palm Oil Plantation Scheme.
