Supplemental Instruction (SI) courses provide additional academic support to a variety of classes at Cleveland State University. SI courses incorporate an SI Leader, usually a student peer or graduate student, into the course who attends all of the course lectures. The SI Leader then conducts 2-3 scheduled review sessions each week which follow the course lectures.
During the SI review sessions, students have the opportunity to review the material covered in the lectures, ask questions, take practice quizzes, collectively problem-solve, apply strategies, and much more. SI review sessions are provided at no extra cost, are voluntary, and can be attended as needed or desired.
