ARTICLE 37
LEGAL PROTECTION
37.1 The Administration/Board of Trustees shall provide legal representation to any members of the bargaining unit who are defendants in civil actions arising out of their employment, at their request, subject to the approval of the Ohio Attorney General and in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Sections 109.361 and 109.362. The Administration/Board of Trustees shall also indemnify and hold harmless any member of the bargaining unit as a result of any judgment, other than a judgment for punitive or exemplary damages or as otherwise prohibited in Ohio Revised Code Section 9.87.
