Outplacement Services

Overview

Outplacement Services will be provided to all Cleveland State University employees when employment is ended due to layoff or restructuring within the University Programs. Services will be provided by the Department of Human Resources Development & Labor Relations through its Training & Organizational Development function in partnership with Career Services Center and other available University resources.

Services

• Skills Assessment and Career Planning
• Individual & Group Sessions providing support with:
  • Resume and Cover Letter assessment and writing assistance
  • Interview Coaching
  • Job Search Coaching
• Access and information including:
  • Health and Well-being Resources
  • Financial Advice and Guidance
  • Community Networks
• Access to CSU IS&T Technical Classroom-based Training classes

Use of outplacement services is on a voluntary basis consistent with an employee’s needs.
