CSU provides basic life insurance, including Accidental Death and Dismemberment coverage, equal to 2 times your base salary up to a maximum of $150,000. This life insurance protection is provided by The Standard Life Insurance Company. The premiums for your coverage are paid entirely by CSU. If you wish, you may apply to purchase additional insurance for yourself, your spouse and each of your eligible dependent children at competitive group rates. The Standard may require evidence of insurability (EOI). For example, you will be asked to complete a medical questionnaire or possibly submit to a medical examination.
