Compensation

CSU compensation strategy is designed to support the following goals:

• To allow Cleveland State University to attract and retain high quality staff;
• To reward employees based on their support of CSU'sspecific mission, strategies and operating plans;
• To reward staff based on their experience and performance;
• To achieve and maintain consistency, equity and fairness in evaluating and compensating employees consistent withthe University's Affirmative Action Plan; and
• To promote communication with and participation by various University constituencies in developing effective compensation programs.
