Welcome to the Cleveland State University Open Enrollment period running from Saturday May 10 through Sunday May 31.  During this annual Open Enrollment period, you have the opportunity to make changes to your benefits selections and review the status of your eligible dependents.  The changes or election you make during this open enrollment period are effective July 1, 2008.

Good News! 
This year, the pre-tax payroll contribution rate required for your coverage has decreased for both of the Medical Mutual PPO Plans and only increased slightly for the Kaiser HMO Plan.  The changes made to the medical plans as well as the second year of continued favorable claims experience helped keep your and  the University’s cost  increase below what was expected for this coming year.

To help in making your choices, please review all of the information in the Open Enrollment  Benefits Newsletter  regarding the changes to the medical plans and the changes to the contribution rates effective July 1, 2008.  The Open Enrollment Newsletter also includes much more information you should know regarding this year’s Open Enrollment.

Benefits Information Meetings
Hear detailed information and ask questions about all your benefit choices at meetings scheduled for 12:15 PM on Thursday May 8 and Wednesday May 14 in Parker Hannifin Hall Room 104.  Spouses welcome.

e-Enroll  On-Line Enrollment
We strongly encourage you to go to e-Enroll to review your current CSU benefit coverage selections and check out all the benefits information and decision making tools available on the e-Enroll website.  However, you need not re-enroll if you are satisfied with your current benefit selections and you do not wish to enroll in a Flexible Spending Account.  If you do not re-enroll, your current benefit plan selections will remain in effect for July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009 and you will not be permitted to make any changes until the next annual open enrollment period unless you have a Qualified Life Event permitting a change.For questions about or assistance with e-Enroll, call 216-687-3638 or e-mail benefits@csuohio.edu.
