Benefits Events
Employee Benefits Open Enrollment is the one time each year faculty and staff may update covered dependents and make changes to their benefit plan selections including medical, dental and vision coverage plus create a flexible spending account. An open enrollment newsletter will be mailed home to faculty and staff the week of May 5 and will include plan design and rate change information for the new plan year effective July 1, 2008. The newsletter also will be available at the Human Resources web page: http://www.csuohio.edu/HRD/
Faculty and staff are invited to join us for informational sessions highlighting the rate and plan design changes that will be effective July 1, 2008. The informational sessions will be held in Parker Hannifin Hall, Room 104 at 12:15 p.m. on the following dates:
Thursday, May 8, 2008Kaiser Permanente and Medical Mutual representatives will be available before and after each session to answer questions from faculty and staff.

On-line open enrollment begins at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 10 and continues to midnight on Saturday, May 31. Once again, employees must use e-Enroll to review and update benefit choices. E-Enroll is accessible from the HR web page at www.csuohio.edu/HRD . The e-Enroll system is available 24 hours, 7 days a week during the open enrollment period, except during scheduled maintenance.
Assistance from Human Resources staff will be available on Thursday, May 15 (and other times by appointment) in Human Resources Department located in the Parker Hannifin Administration Center, Suite 113 to assist faculty and staff in need of internet access for e-Enroll and/or guidance through the open enrollment process.

Benefits orientations for all new full time employees are held on the following dates from 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. in the new HR suite in the Parker Hannifin Administration Center (AC 113). To reserve a space new employees should call (216) 687-3636 or register below.

Retirement Plan Orientation
Retirement plan orientations are scheduled on a monthly basis for newly hired full time professional and classified staff members. Orientations will review the retirement plan options and important deadlines. During the orientations a representative from the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS) will present the plan options for new members and will be available for questions.
Orientations are held from 1:00 p.m.- 2:30 p.m. in the new HR suite in the Parker Hannifin Administration Center (AC 113).
