Text Files of the C.U.T.
The heart of the C.U.T. Collection is the 400 cubic feet of files
from the various construction offices and the subsequent Terminal
Manager's Office. These files have been inventoried and are now
being evaluated, housed in archival-quality folders and boxes
and entered into a database constructed from an earlier inventory
produced by work-study students in 1992.
The final C.U.T. database is not yet ready for inclusion in these
pages, but the 1992 inventory is available as an ASCII text file,
in five parts:
- Part 1, including the files
of the Chief Engineer (Jouette), the Principal Assistant Engineer
and the Engineer of Structures. (112 KB)
- Part 2, including the Engineer
of Structures (East End Joint Work), the Engineer of Construction
and the Engineer of Buildings. (85 KB)
- Part 3, including the Designing
Engineer files and Deeds. (101 KB)
- Part 4, including Deeds (continued),
the Terminal Manager (Employees), Court Decisions and Custodian
(Land) files. (106 KB)
- Part 5, including financial
files, the Mechanical & Electrical Engineer, the Railroad
Committee, Operations, Plans, Easements, the Medical Arts Building,
articles about the CUT, Supreme Court Cases, and the Terminal
Manager's files. (79 KB)
