How to Purchase a Parking Permit (Video)

Purchase permits via CSU GO Online Parking System, by logging in using your CSU ID and Campus Net password.

  • Permits are priced based on the parking zone.
  • Viking Cards are required for permit holders to access garages.
  • Class registration for the most current term is required to purchase a permit.
  • Parking accounts must be up-to-date and all citations paid to purchase a permit.  
  • All permits are limited and may sell out.

Commuter Students: 4 types of permits with additional parking available in Middough and Lot 43. View the various location on the Parking Map or view the individual locations below. For additional permit informatoin, click here

  1. White permits provide access to non-core surface lots and the South Garage. 
    • You can save money, if you are willing to walk farther from white permit facilities to your campus destination and/or use the RTA and the Campus Safety Escort service.
    • If you park on campus two (2) or more times per week, a White permit offers the best daily value for parking on campus.
    • Green and White permits will sell out. Click here for Sold out Permit Information.
  2. Green permits provide access to all core garages, a few core surface lots and the South Garage.
  3. Evening [valid after 3:30 p.m.] permits provide access to White/Green parking locations after 3:30pm. South Garage access is not available. Only available during fall and spring semesters.
  4. Night [valid after 5:30 p.m.] permits provide access to White/Green parking locations after 5:30pm. South Garage access is not available. Only available during fall and spring semesters.
  5. Middough Garage (Lot 13): Two areas to park.
    • CSU Students, Faculty & Staff are not permitted to park their personal vehicle inside the garage before 4:00pm weekdays.  After 4:00pm weekdays and anytime on weekends, parking is permitted by displaying any valid CSU parking permit. 
    • CSU Alley Parking Spaces are available on the East side of the Middough Garage. Parking is available from 5:00am - 11:59pm by obtaining any valid CSU parking permit. 
  6. Lot 43 Daily parking permits: Daily permits can be purchased based on your class schedule. Restrictions apply. Click here for more information.

Campus Safety Escort

Students who must walk on campus at night are encouraged to use CSU Escorts by calling 216-687-2020 (Campus Extension 2020) when traveling to and from destinations.

College Based Arrangements

Parking & Transportation Services has made arrangements with specific colleges or academic departments to address unique service situations.

2022-2023 Refund Policy

Refund requests submitted for permits that are lost or stolen must be accompanied by a police report.  For more Refund Policy information, click here.
